FOV: keep it small
The most important single setting. Aimbot FOV controls the cone around your crosshair that the bot will lock into.
- Rust / R6 Siege: 3-5° FOV max.
- Warzone / BO7: 4-7° FOV.
- Apex / ARC Raiders: 5-8° (higher TTK = more forgiving).
Anything above 15° is instant killcam flag. 25° and up looks like literal magic. A 5° FOV forces you to physically move your mouse toward the target, so kills look like normal micro-adjustments.
Smoothing & humanisation
Aimbot without smoothing snaps at 0 frames. Humans snap at 3-8 frames minimum.
- Smoothing value: 25-40 for rifle/AR, 15-25 for sniper (still fast enough to feel).
- Humanisation / jitter: 30-50% adds sub-pixel noise to the lock so tracking isn't robot-flat.
- First-shot delay: 80-180ms before the aim engages. Prevents the 'instantly-on-target-the-frame-they-appeared' killcam.
Every mature cheat menu exposes these three. If yours doesn't, it's a rage cheat with a legit-mode toggle — not a legit cheat.
Activation: hold, don't toggle
Legit users hold a mouse button (usually right-click / ADS) to activate the aim. Never toggle. Reasons:
- ADS-only aim looks identical to a good player hipfire-flick-then-ADS.
- Toggle-based aim keeps snapping during looting, sprinting, jumping — every one is a killcam frame.
- Anti-cheats and reviewers spot 'aim assist while running away' immediately.
Bind aim to ADS. Bind trigger to a separate side-mouse button you press deliberately.
ESP: minimum viable info
Full 3D boxes with health bars visible through 200m of walls is what generates report-storms.
- Boxes: OFF or 40m max. Use skeletons only, and only at 20m.
- Health text: OFF (or numeric only, at 15m).
- Distance / weapon: OFF above 60m.
- Loot ESP: LOW-tier only unless you're playing DMZ / Extraction where loot matters.
- Radar / mini-map: this is the safest ESP feature. It never shows in a killcam. Prefer radar over on-screen ESP.
All RageByte builds ship with 'Legit Preset' presets that pre-configure these values.
Miss on purpose
The #1 tell after FOV is 100% hit rate. Humans miss 30-45% of AR bullets at range. If your aimbot lands every shot, kills look like this in a killcam: enemy peeks, you snap, red red red red red red red, dead. Nobody plays like that.
- Enable 'trigger bot delay' if your cheat has it.
- Reduce bone priority — aim for chest instead of head 60% of the time.
- Manually flick your mouse away for the last 1-2 bullets of a burst.
Aim for a 50-65% headshot rate and 60-75% hit rate. That's 'god-tier player'. 90%+ is 'obvious cheater'.
Prefire discipline (the wallhack killer)
Wallhacks are catchable by exactly one signal: consistent prefire through walls with 0-frame reaction. Fix:
- Never prefire the wall the second an enemy walks up. Wait a beat.
- Take fake angles occasionally — hold a wrong angle on purpose for 2-3 seconds.
- Pretend to check sounds — pivot the wrong direction, then correct.
- Occasionally miss a rotating enemy entirely.
Anyone spectating you looks for 'always right'. Give them 15% 'wrong' to hide the 85% 'impossibly right'.
Sell it in comms
If you play in a squad, talk like a legit player. Call out sounds you 'heard' (that you actually saw on ESP). Guess wrong sometimes. Never say 'I have wall'. Your squadmates are the #1 source of reports because they'll clip you and post the WebM.
